SHIPPING- Shipping can be especially stressful on some puppies and we require that you get your puppy to a vet within 72 hours after receiving them, so make your vet appointments before the puppy ever gets to you. We do everything on our end that can be done to avoid any problems prior to them leaving, but once in a while a puppy will stress more than others and can be treated very easily by a vet if done in the first 72 hours. Our puppies are shipped by air. There may situations when shipping by air that unexpected delays happen and rescheduling may be necessary; an example is if temperatures do not meet the criteria to safely ship the puppy due to extreme heat/cold prohibiting puppy's flight. In order to avoid this, we ask that you have a second choice of airports for alternate arrivals in case temps are too hot/cold they have the information to re-route. When shipped by air, please be aware that flights can be cancelled by airlines, and ARE rescheduled by our shippers for the next soonest available flight; delays are also a possibility. We all do our best to see your puppy is safely shipped to you on the day scheduled. Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated. PLEASE NOTE: If you pick up your puppy from our facility, prices do not include a travel crate, you will need to bring your own to transport your puppy. The many changes in the last year at Broken Spokes Kennels
I just thougt I needed to update everyone and to apologize for not doing this sooner, I just wasn't ready. Many of you do know that last year September the 21st, I lost my Gary to a massive brain hemmorage from an aneurysm. I have tried very hard to continue with the puppies and have done ok. Broken Spokes Kennels was something Gary and I were so proud of. It has been quite the adjustment. I sold our farm and with much help from dear friends and great family, moved me and the dogs to my daughter and her husband's farm in Cabool which is about 12 miles from the old place. I have had to change providers and email addresses and have lost touch with many of my old friends and clients.
This past year has been quite the ride but even with all of the pain and changes it has been a time of learning and growing in different areas. Gary never could stand "pitty-parties", so onward I go...Gary always in my heart.
